On Wednesday, June 8, the finals of the Jelenia Góra Zone Championships for Upper Secondary Schools in Beach Volleyball were held at the MOSiR Water and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec. In the girls’ category, the team from Kamienna Góra proved the best. The zone runner-up title went to the I LO team from Bolesławiec, which played in the following lineup: Patrycja Drążkiewicz, Paulina Kopeć and Sandra Wilk. The team’s coach is Elżbieta Chodyra. The volleyball players from Bolesławiec’s II LO finished third.
In the boys’ category, the team from Kamienna Góra triumphed. The volleyball players from Zgorzelec came second, while the players from the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Bolesławiec took third place. The competition was organized by the Inter-School Sports Centre, part of the Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr.
