WE EMPHASIZE

Such actions violate the law and will not go unanswered. The Police monitor the Internet and respond to conduct that violates regulations—regardless of where it was committed: in the real world or online.

Actions taken by Lower Silesian officers, supported by police officers from Kielce and Kraków, led to the identification of two people who allegedly published content online inciting hatred on national grounds. Proceedings are being conducted against these individuals.

During the operation, police officers searched one of the premises and secured a phone from which posts that could constitute an offence under Article 256 of the Criminal Code were allegedly published.

WE WARN

Inciting hatred on the grounds of nationality, ethnicity, race, religion or lack of religious affiliation is a crime punishable by up to 3 years’ imprisonment.

REMEMBER

The Internet does not provide anonymity. Anyone who breaks the law online must expect a firm response from the Police.
