Around 60 people took part in Saturday’s event, organised in cooperation with Nadleśnictwo Bolesławiec. They included members of SLD and young people affiliated with FMS, as well as representatives of Unia Pracy, the Association of Retired Persons and Pensioners of Former KGHM Miedź S.A. Employees, allotment gardeners from POD "Gwarek", and the Forum for Equal Opportunities and Women’s Rights.
Despite the unfavourable weather, 6,500 seedlings of hornbeam, rowan and beech were planted in Osieczów. The afforested area covers one hectare of forest land. The event, organised to mark the sixth anniversary of the founding of SLD in Bolesławiec, ended in the afternoon with the traditional grilling of sausages.
