The Bolesławiec volleyball players extended their winning streak and remain top of the competition standings in the Lower Silesian First League. The match, which began on Saturday (November 29) at 6:00 p.m., started well for the hosts.

In the first set, the point-for-point battle ended at 5:5. BTS then began to pull away. The visitors managed to score their next point only when the score was 12:5 for BTS, but they were unable to make up such a large deficit. BTS maintained its advantage and confidently won the first part of the match. The first-set score was 25:17 for the Bolesławiec team.

The second set was different. From the beginning, the play was more evenly matched, and after the score reached 17:17, the visitors from Kąty Wrocławskie began to gain the advantage and ultimately won this part of the game 25:21.

The third set, too, featured an even contest between the teams. Neither side gained an advantage of more than two points until the score reached 14:14. BTS moved three points ahead (18:15), but the visitors soon closed the gap again (20:19). In the decisive phase of the third set, the score was tied at 22:22, and it was clear that the finish would be tense. When SPS scored the next point, the BTS coach called a timeout. The visitors proved more effective at the end and won this part of the game 25:23.

The fourth set began with BTS taking a very substantial lead. The initial score of 10:1 for the Bolesławiec volleyball players showed this clearly. SPS managed to score its second point only at that stage. With Bolesławiec leading 19:10, it was clear that the visitors were unlikely to make up such a large deficit and that a tie-break would be needed to decide the match. That is exactly what happened: BTS won the set 25:15.

In the tie-break, the Bolesławiec team controlled the situation on the court from start to finish. First they built, and then maintained, a substantial lead, defeating SPS Mountpark Kąty Wrocławskie 15:6.
