Police officers from Bolesławiec have arrested a man suspected of persistently stalking an acquaintance, violating her bodily integrity, as well as damaging and misappropriating property. The police said: – The 29-year-old, a repeat offender previously convicted of property-related crimes, had allegedly been displaying aggressive behaviour towards the victim for some time.

The officers’ findings indicate that the man repeatedly harassed the woman with phone calls and messages, showed up at her home and threatened her.

After his arrest, the stalker was brought before the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, where he was charged. The officers:

Taking into account the nature of the acts and the man’s previous convictions, the prosecutor imposed preventive measures in the form of police supervision and a ban on approaching or contacting the victim.

The perpetrator faces up to 8 years in prison.
