In concern for the safety of its students, Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny w Iwinach took part in the nationwide competition “Reflective School 2025”, organized by Biuro Ruchu Drogowego Komendy Głównej Policji.
The aim of the project was to promote wearing reflective elements, popularize road traffic safety rules, and increase children’s safety on the way to and from school.
As part of the campaign, the school organized, among other things, art competitions and road traffic safety knowledge contests, after-school activities under the slogan Don’t be gloomy, be visible, a Police presentation, a disco and a reflective fashion show, as well as an assembly summarizing the activities. Students took part in walks and an overnight reflective event, and prepared a film, song and calendar promoting road safety.
Activities aimed at seniors were also held – during the meeting A Reflective Senior Is a Safe Senior leaflets and reflective accessories were distributed.
The project culminated in an event under the slogan “Shine by example – wear reflective accessories”, during which students marched through the streets of Iwiny, promoting pedestrian safety.
