The National Independence Day celebrations in Bolesławiec County were enhanced by an Independence Concert held at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec. The concert served as a symbolic reminder that freedom, both sung about and fought for, remains a value that must be cherished every day. It was the artistic culmination of the celebrations, emphasizing the importance of historical memory and patriotism.
Young artists from the vocal studio of the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec presented a program full of patriotic themes, emotions and moving moments.
The repertoire included both historical songs referring to the struggle for independence and contemporary works reflecting on freedom and love for the homeland. The audience, appreciating the performers’ talent and commitment, rewarded them with loud applause.
