In the material The Vatican will address the scandal involving a teacher from the Bolesławiec Piarist School we reported on the ongoing Church investigation into canonical offenses involving Father Piotr, a former teacher at the Piarist school in Bolesławiec).
Witness interviews are ongoing in the proceedings concerning the content published by the istotne.pl portal. They will take about a month, after which the documents will be sent to the appropriate Dicastery of the Holy See (the administrative office of the Catholic Church – editor’s note).

The investigation was launched after our publication from May 2025. In it, we revealed the results of our own journalistic investigation.
We demonstrated, and the order confirmed, that Father Piotr had been leading a double life. He was not only a teacher who devoted himself passionately to educating young people in the Christian spirit, but also appeared in pornographic videos that he distributed to encourage other men to engage in group erotic activities.
A few days after the publication of the results of our investigation, the order’s superior imposed precautionary measures on Father Piotr, including a ban on performing priestly ministry and wearing clerical attire.
Clearly, this punishment did not stop the religious brother, as he continues to run an Instagram account with more than 10,000 followers. If his superiors had forbidden Father Piotr from using social media or simply cut him off from the internet, perhaps journalists would not have once again received photos that the clergyman publishes on his account.
