On Friday evening, a group of children were visiting homes in the town of Dobra. The Halloween fun could have ended badly if not for one child’s vigilance.
One of the candies the children received from someone in the town contained a metal element, visible in the photograph. What kind of person gives a child something like this?
Reader:
(...) Just an interesting detail. A piece of metal proportional in size to the candy. People opposed to Halloween can simply not open their doors, while inserting needles, metal and so on into sweets shows a lack of humanity... How can anyone do something like this to a child?
Fortunately, the child did not eat the candy with the “metal surprise.” The reader adds that her child was alert thanks to the school teacher:
Fortunately, the teacher at school gave a talk on Friday about checking the candies, and a tragedy was avoided. We found one in our batch, but I don’t know about the other children. The mothers of other children said that some candies were wrapped strangely, so they threw them away. This candy did not raise any visual doubts...
Unofficially, we are receiving reports that this is not an isolated case. It is difficult even to comment on the whole matter. We urge parents to be cautious. Warn your children. Let them be alert in such situations. We will end this report with a question: What kind of person does something like this?
The metal rod in the candy was approximately 2 cm long
