In connection with the article entitled “The Witcher’s Star Castle in Warta: a magical place near Bolesławiec is turning into a dump,” published on the istotne.pl website on September 14, 2025, at 12:50 p.m., I hereby inform you that:

  1. The creation of the bicycle trail was carried out by an independent association, not by Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka. The funds did not come from the municipal budget, but from external sources obtained by the association.
  2. The castle is not owned by the Gmina, and therefore it has neither the legal ability nor the obligation to manage it or finance its upkeep.
