On Monday, March 16, between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., police officers from Bolesławiec conducted the “Pierścień” operation. Sixteen patrol cars and the newest motorcycles took to the roads of our county (40 uniformed officers participated in the operation).
Officers checked nearly 400 vehicles. They confiscated 64 registration certificates (due to the vehicles’ poor technical condition) and issued 219 fines. In addition, three drunk drivers were detained by the police.
The operation aims to improve the safety of road users. Police officers from Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, Zgorzelec, Kamienna Góra and Lwówek Śląski also joined the operation.
