The investment involving the renovation of the garage of the Volunteer Fire Department in Czerna has been completed. As reported by the Nowogrodziec Municipal Office:
The works were accepted by: Nowogrodziec Mayor Joanna Świder, Deputy Mayor Andrzej Drąg, the Head and an employee of the Investments Department, the renovation contractor together with the site manager, and members of the OSP Czerna management board.
The municipal authorities add:
Today (17 October – ed. istotne.pl), the firefighters will move into the renovated garage, which has undergone a thorough modernisation. The scope of work included, among other things, renovating the floor, replacing the garage doors and repairing the plaster on the walls.
Investment value: PLN 213,381.03. The municipal office: “The task was carried out by DRECON Sp. z o.o. from Szprotawa, and its acceptance marks another stage in the plan to modernise OSP units in the Nowogrodziec Municipality, announced by Mayor Joanna Świder. The modernisation prepares the technical infrastructure of OSP Czerna for the planned purchase of a new fire engine.

Particularly noteworthy is the commitment of the firefighters from OSP Czerna themselves, who carried out additional work on their own, allocating their own funds of PLN 5,000 for this purpose.
