An unusual fire service intervention took place on Saturday, October 9, in the village of Czerna, in the Gmina Nowogrodziec. A raccoon climbed onto the roof of one of the buildings. The animal was sitting at the very top of the roof and did not want to come down, so the fire service was called for help.
Using a mechanical ladder, the firefighters brought the raccoon down from the roof and released it into the wild.
In mid-July this year, we reported on raccoons that were walking around Czerna. As can be seen, the animals have settled in this village.
