“They’ve torn the plates off my car for the third time. I know who is doing it, but I have no proof. The last time was on Sunday, October 12. The car was parked in front of the Lewiatan store on Łasicka Street; there are cameras at the store, but I don’t know whether the police obtained anything from them,” the woman told our editorial team.

According to her, the man she identifies has a so-called Blue Card procedure opened against him and a court case, but is still allegedly continuing to harass her. “He drives around, follows me and keeps doing things. I thought it would stop, but I can see that it hasn’t. On Sunday, he tore the plates off my car again,” the distraught woman says.

This is not the first time she claims to have been attacked by him. “He attacked me outside a store in February; I reported that to the police too. I have already lost so much. I don’t want anything from this person, I just want him to leave me alone,” she adds.

The woman says she is afraid for her safety and for her child.

The matter was reported to the police on Sunday, October 12. We asked the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters what action had been taken, whether footage from the cameras at the Lewiatan store had been secured and whether proceedings concerning the harassment of the woman were under way.

“The surveillance footage relating to the theft of the registration plates on October 12 this year has been secured. In the earlier proceedings concerning the theft of a registration plate, which took place in March this year, no one was charged,” reports junior inspector Anna Kublik-Rościszewska of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters. “Proceedings concerning, among other things, abuse and criminal threats were concluded with an indictment in April this year. The man is under police supervision and is prohibited from coming within 50 meters of the injured party,” the police officer reports.

We learned that the man has already received a suspended prison sentence of two years.
