The police established that the cause of the incident, which occurred on October 6, was probably failure to adjust speed to the traffic conditions. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the narrow road, entering a roadside ditch. The bus driver's driving licence was confiscated. Further decisions in the matter will be made by the court.
As lwowecki.info reported immediately after the incident, no one was seriously injured; however, the children were very frightened and were provided with support in this regard.
We contacted Łukasz Jaźwiec, president of the PKS Bolesławiec company, for comment and an explanation of the matter. In a reply received on October 8, we were only informed that the relevant services were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
President Jaźwiec did not comment on the incident or the extent of the company's liability towards the passengers.
