On 4 October 2025, the historic interiors of the Wedding Palace in Bolesławiec hosted a deeply moving ceremony awarding Medals for Long Marital Life. Those honoured included: Maria Sienkiewicz-Dobużyńska and Wiesław Dobużyński, Danuta and Jan Laskowie, as well as Rozalia and Bogdan Staniewscy.
Family members, friends and acquaintances of the couples were present in the hall, sharing the joy and emotion of the day with them. The ceremony’s special character was underscored by a concert performed by Mateusz Boduch (saxophone) and Szymon Graba (piano), lecturers at the State Music School in Bolesławiec.
