It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Sławomir Respondek, a physical education teacher at our school from 1957 to 1985.
He began working at I Liceum after graduating from the Academy of Physical Education in Wrocław. At the same time, he was an instructor at a gym in Bolesławiec and a sports referee.
A great table tennis enthusiast, he promoted the sport both at school and after retiring. Generations of graduates surely remember his energy and vitality, which he retained until the end of his life.
Sławomir Respondek died at the age of 95.
The funeral will take place on September 26 at the municipal cemetery in Bolesławiec. It will begin at 2:00 p.m..
