One of the most important road investments in the Nowogrodziec municipality has been completed. Mayor Joanna Świder together with her deputy Andrzej Drąg, employees and contractors, officially accepted the reconstructed Adama Mickiewicza Street in Nowogrodziec.
An investment for residents and safety
As Nowogrodziec officials emphasize:
The new road primarily means greater comfort and safety for residents, as well as improved functionality of the city’s entire transport system. The modernized infrastructure will serve both drivers and pedestrians, providing convenience and durability for many years.

What was the scope of the completed work?

The reconstruction of Mickiewicza Street involved a number of important measures:
- modernization of the road surface,
- construction of new sidewalks and paving of shoulders,
- renovation of property access roads,
- construction of a modern drainage system,
- installation of horizontal and vertical road markings,
- installation of new street lighting.
The works also included cleanup and road safety measures, which improved the standard and appearance of the public space.
Municipal authorities conclude:
Although the investment caused some traffic disruptions, the residents of Nowogrodziec showed great patience and understanding. Thanks to this, today we can enjoy a new, functional and safe road.
Mayor Joanna Świder emphasized that this investment is not only a new road surface, but above all an improvement in residents’ quality of life and a step toward a modern, welcoming urban space.
The newly opened Mickiewicza Street is further proof that together we are building a better future for our municipality.
