The exercises were organized by the Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service, with the participation of municipal and county State Fire Service headquarters from Wrocław, Legnica, Wałbrzych, Bolesławiec, Lubań and Zgorzelec.
The Specialist Technical Rescue Group “Bolesławiec”, operating within the County State Fire Service Headquarters in Bolesławiec, also actively participated in the exercises. The tasks carried out by the firefighters required significant commitment, cooperation with other services and the use of specialized equipment.
The exercises, organized by the Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service with the participation of municipal and county State Fire Service headquarters from Wrocław, Legnica, Wałbrzych, Bolesławiec, Lubań and Zgorzelec, took place on September 15–18 at the training ground in Pstrąże and the Trzebień Mały reservoir.

What was practiced?
🔎 Selected scenarios 🚣 “Kayak trip” – rescuing people swept away by the current of the Bóbr River, rope operations from a bridge 🕳️ “Well” – retrieving a person from a deep well at night 🛢️ “Tanker” – stabilizing and sealing a tanker containing diesel fuel, evacuating trapped people 🏚️ “Air raid” – operations in a rubble field, rescuing people injured in basements ⚠️ “Storage site (BŚT)” – cooperation with the military after barrels containing hazardous substances became unsealed 🚐 “Vehicle in a lake” – recovering a van with injured people inside, using sonar 🏢 “Tenement laboratory” – rescuing people from basements, neutralizing a chemical laboratory ⛵ “Nighttime boat accident” – an operation on a lake, additionally involving a fire in the engine of a rescue craft 🚌 “Oversized vehicle” – a bus standing vertically against an embankment, evacuating passengers and securing the vehicle ☢️ “Radioactive contamination – Silo” – operations in a contaminated area.
