In addition to a new footbridge with seating (pictured below), the investment project also includes the construction of two floating islands for birds and the renovation of the existing island in the middle of the pond. A nesting shelter for swans is to be built there.
Birdhouses and squirrel houses will be installed in the trees around the pond. The railings around the pond will also be replaced.
The pond bottom will be cleaned and deepened, and the shoreline reinforced. Reed vegetation will be planted. Street furniture and park lighting will be installed.
