Huta Stalowa Wola announced the delivery of new equipment for the Bolesławiec unit on its website:

The vehicles comprising the second battery of Krabs assigned to the third battalion fire module were handed over to soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec. The delivery included eight 155 mm KRAB howitzers, a command-and-staff vehicle, three command vehicles and two ammunition vehicles.

As we read on Wikipedia:

AHS Krab is a Polish 21st-century 155 mm self-propelled howitzer (AHS) with a barrel length of 52 calibres (L/52 – 8 metres), mounted on a tracked chassis. It is a Polish adaptation of the British AS90/52 Braveheart turret system produced under licence. It is manufactured at Huta Stalowa Wola.

The turret system was selected in 1999, and HSW completed the prototype in 2001. The weapon was initially built on the Polish UPG-NG chassis manufactured by Zakłady Mechaniczne “Bumar-Łabędy”; eight vehicles of the implementation series were completed with it. After a lengthy development phase and several years during which the programme was suspended, the first eight guns were handed over to the military for testing in 2012.

Due to problems with the chassis, in December 2014 a decision was made to replace the UPG-NG chassis in production vehicles with the South Korean K9PL chassis manufactured by Samsung Techwin and used in the K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzer. Its production was subsequently undertaken at Huta Stalowa Wola under licence. Since 2017, these guns have been successively entering service with the divisional artillery battalions of the Land Forces. In 2022, a batch of Krabs was transferred to Ukraine, where they made their combat debut.
