There is an update concerning Rajska Street in Bolesławiec. Agnieszka Gergont, spokesperson for Bolesławiec City Hall: – An assessment is currently being prepared for paving Rajska Street with openwork concrete slabs. The slabs are planned to be laid as far as the existing properties by the end of this year.

Let us recall. In mid-July, we reported that a resident of Rajska Street in Bolesławiec had called us: “For 20 years, we have not had a proper path to the buildings. Yesterday, the situation simply became too much for us – it was impossible to get home without getting our feet wet.”

One of the city councillors has intervened in the matter of this spur of Rajska Street several times. After each intervention, the situation repeats itself: a machine arrives and dumps stones. That was also the case a few days ago. However, it did little good, because after heavy rainfall the situation is deplorable once again. (The effect can be seen in the photographs).

–And it has been like this for 20 years already – the woman complained. And she asked: – Is this an area forgotten by the City?

She added that the residents had already waited long enough. All the more so because, as she stressed, this is not a particularly large area. And she said that it would probably be cheaper for the City to build the road properly once and for all instead of continually repairing it provisionally.
