The second round of regional-league matches was played over the weekend of 16–17 August. Two of our teams recorded victories. Two suffered defeats.
The most impressive victory was recorded by Chrobry Nowogrodziec, who on Sunday, 17 August, defeated Victoria Jelenia Góra at home by as much as 6:1. The Jelenia Góra side kept pace with the hosts in the first half. Their play fell apart after the break. As we read on Victoria’s social media:
(...) After a good first half, we played dramatically in the second. We conceded five goals and lost by a very large margin
The score in Nowogrodziec was 1:1 at half-time. Both goals were scored by Victoria players. In the 4th minute, Gabriel Walczak scored an own goal. In the 15th minute, Bartosz Podobiński scored. After the change of ends, the hosts began a fierce scoring spell. Chrobry’s goals were scored by: Andrzej Miżdal (49th minute), Paweł Urbaniak (64th minute), Sebastian Tkacz (74th minute), Kacper Hałdaś (75th minute) and Sebastian Tkacz again (81st minute).

In the second round of regional-league fixtures, GKS Cement Raciborowice also did not disappoint, defeating LZS Kościelnik 3:2 away from home. Victory did not come easily for Cement. With a little luck, the hosts could at least have drawn the match.
Cement led 2:1 at half-time after goals from Oskar Rajczakowski (3rd minute) and Hubert Kwolek (14th minute). Grzegorz Staniów scored Kościelnik’s goal to reduce the deficit (38th minute). After the break, Jakub Stompór extended GKS’s lead to 3:1 from the penalty spot (48th minute). In the 55th minute, the hosts reduced the deficit again with a penalty scored by Damian Bojdziński. The 3:2 scoreline in Cement’s favour held until the final whistle.
LZS Kościelnik:
(...) Towards the end of the match, we began attacking more frequently, believing that we could cause a surprise and take points from our opponents by bringing the score level. GKS, however, did not allow us to snatch victory away from them and won the match (...).

On Saturday, 16 August, GKS Warta Bolesławiecka also played its match. The team travelled to face Lechia Piechowice, hoping to earn its first points of the round. Unfortunately, it returned from the newly promoted side without any points.
Lechia led 2:0 at half-time in Piechowice. The goals were scored by: Dominik Pietrzykowski (40th minute) and Krystian Kilimnik (46th minute). After the break, Lechia added two more goals. In the 81st minute, Dominik Pietrzykowski scored his second, and in the 84th minute Krystian Kilimnik also scored his second.
