Since 1998, she has worked at Ceramika Artystyczna „Spółdzielni Rękodzieła Artystycznego”. In 2001, she joined the unique ceramics department, where she successfully combined her role as a designer with the meticulous recreation of unique decorations representing the heritage and essence of artistic craftsmanship. The source of inspiration for Lucyna Lenkiewicz’s work is nature, perceived as an emanation of harmony and order. This fascinating world of flora and fauna is translated into subtle and refined patterns that adorn her ceramic masterpieces. She pours her heart into every design, and the design process itself becomes a form of expression of her inner world. She likes to combine various decorating techniques, skillfully using both the precision of brush painting and the characteristic rhythm of stamp painting. This synergy allows her to achieve a unique visual effect that defines her individual style.
She attaches particular importance to her color palette, wishing the selected tones to radiate optimism, brighten people’s moods and bring smiles to viewers’ faces. She believes in the therapeutic power of color and its ability to have a positive influence on emotions. She most often reaches for floral motifs, which are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her. The artist is particularly drawn to irises, which she considers royal flowers, full of grace and elegance. Their majestic appearance and wealth of colors inspired one of her most popular ceramic patterns, which is appreciated by both collectors and lovers of applied art.
Lucyna Lenkiewicz’s involvement in the life of the factory goes beyond the scope of her professional duties. She actively participated in organizing the Ceramika Artystyczna parades, which to this day remain a colorful spectacle and promote local tradition.
She also helped prepare artistic performances presented during celebrations of the Bolesławiec ceramics festival, contributing to making this important cultural event more attractive.
During the Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival, Lucyna Lenkiewicz took part several times in the artistic body-painting event held during Gliniada and Glina Show. It was a fascinating combination of body art and traditional ceramic craftsmanship. The male and female models were transformed into living canvases so that they could appear in the parade. Their bodies were covered with patterns that usually adorn ceramic vessels. Lucyna Lenkiewicz chose her favorite pattern: the royal iris.
Outside her work with ceramics, the painter finds respite and fulfillment in other artistic fields. In her free time, she paints mandalas, which serve as a form of meditation and an expression of inner harmony. She also enjoys creating Christmas and Easter arrangements, as well as other holiday decorations, bringing an atmosphere of warmth, joy and family celebration into her surroundings. Her passion and creativity find an outlet in a variety of artistic forms, making her a versatile and inspiring personality.
Lucyna Lenkiewicz is an artist who, through her work with ceramics and her involvement in the life of the local community, makes a valuable contribution to the development of local culture and art.
