At the investment site, the area formerly occupied by the Prnjavor Restaurant and Hotel, next to national road no. 94 in Bolesławiec, was selected. Construction work began in 2022. The facility was to have an area of 2,500 m² and was scheduled to be commissioned at the turn of 2022 and 2023. However, the work was halted.
As Piotr Żak, head of the District Building Supervision Inspectorate, explained at the December session of the city council in 2022, work on the investment was halted after war broke out in Ukraine and the crisis began. The investor cited these reasons for suspending the investment.
Currently, nothing is still happening at the site. The wind blows through the location of the planned DPD facility, and concrete stumps stand as a grim reminder. We contacted DPD with a question about what will happen with this investment. We are waiting for a response.
