The BKS footballers started the match in Zgorzelec rather nervously. During the first fifteen minutes, the home side had the advantage and created several dangerous opportunities in front of the Bolesławiec team’s goal. Later, the match became more even. In the 32nd minute, Nysa’s centre-backs made a mistake. A poorly cleared ball fell to Węgłowski, who beat the Zgorzelec goalkeeper with a shot from 20 metres.
In the second half, the BKS footballers created several more good scoring opportunities. Nitarski and Pietkiewicz had chances to score. Jasiński also failed to convert a good opportunity. His shot flew just over the crossbar of Nysa’s goal. BKS goalkeeper Przykłota gave a good performance in the match. His interventions effectively protected the team from conceding a goal.
BKS will play its next match at home on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Our team’s opponent will be Sparta Świdnica.
