The incident occurred at the end of the ceremony, after 9:00 p.m. Someone sprayed tear gas on the street in front of the stadium and inside the stadium itself.
Four police patrols and an emergency medical team intervened. Some people gathered near the stands were coughing and had irritated eyes.
It has not yet been established who sprayed the gas.
Update 11:55 p.m.
One of the injured men called us. This is how he described the situation:
I am a witness in the case concerning the incident near the stadium. My friend was hit hardest in the face because he got almost an entire can of the gas. I was affected only slightly, around the eye. My girlfriend was also hit in the eye and face. Several other people were affected at the bus stop as well. That is why the police and ambulance arrived shortly afterward. I know the guy. The police have his full details. He is from Rakowice and lives in Bolesławiec. He was also the one who sprayed the gas at the stadium; it was the same person. Gas can hurt people. My friend still cannot see. The paramedics gave him additional eye drops, but he still cannot see out of his eyes. A person goes peacefully, with a friend and an ex-partner, to a concert, like any normal person. And gets sprayed with gas. It is sick. I understand that if you have a problem with someone, some kind of dispute, you might go, for example, and fight with bare fists. But gas?
