Zosia Wardenga, a third-grader at the primary school in Kruszyn, won first place in the nationwide art competition “Meetings with Art”!
This year’s, already third edition of the competition was exceptional—the young artists took on the work of Stanisław Wyspiański, one of the most distinguished painters and playwrights of the Young Poland period. By creating her own interpretation of one of Wyspiański’s works, Zosia demonstrated tremendous talent, artistic sensitivity and creative maturity, which were appreciated by the jury—her work was selected from among more than 2,600 entries from across Poland!
