On Friday, 30 May, BKS’s senior team played an away match against LZS Kościelnik. The match promised to be particularly interesting because Kościelnik’s coach is Daniel Padewski – a native of Bolesławiec. Additionally, three players from the team – Oskar Pochwała, Mateusz Olesiński and Jakub Kwoczka – are former BKS players.
Friday’s match ended with a comfortable victory for the hosts. They led at half-time after Szpytma’s goal. After the change of ends, Kościelnik added two more goals by Ptaszkowski and ended the entire match with a 3–0 victory. Thus, LZS ended a run of three consecutive defeats and avenged the 0–2 defeat to the people of Bolesławiec in the previous round.
