Officers from the Economic Crime Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica arrested a 20-year-old resident of Bolesławiec suspected of committing a series of frauds and appropriating property while working for courier companies. – In the course of his work, the perpetrator repeatedly pretended that parcels had not been delivered, when in fact they contained valuable goods, including cosmetics, e-cigarette cartridges, computer equipment and jewellery – explains Senior Officer Aleksandra Pieprzycka from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – After taking the contents of the parcels, the man returned empty packages to the warehouses as allegedly undelivered, with the aim of erasing traces of the crime and making the scheme more difficult to detect.
