Update

Lwówecka police on the incident:

A serious accident occurred on May 27 on the grounds of a disused mine in the area of Grudza and Kłopotnica (Lwówek County). Preliminary findings by the officers indicate that a 33-year-old man, riding a motorcycle through the wilderness, lost control of the vehicle, fell, and was crushed by the motorcycle. Due to his numerous injuries and the difficult-to-access terrain, a helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene.

But that was not the end of it. Officers:

During the emergency services' operations, it turned out that the injured man... was wanted to serve a prison sentence.

The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Kłopotnica near Mirsk, on the site of a former mine excavation. A motorcyclist riding there was injured. As reported by lwowecki.info:

Unofficial information indicates that, while attempting to ride the cross bike up the excavation wall, the man lost his balance, the motorcycle overturned and crushed him, causing injuries to his pelvis and, most likely, also his spine.

Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. A helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene and transported the young man to hospital.
