The district-level qualifiers of the “Pegazik” Recitation Competition, addressed to primary school pupils, took place on 24 March at the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec. Twenty-five reciters took part in the competition. The jury (comprising: Maria Sobolska, Krystyna Raszka and Katarzyna Pranić) awarded two equal prizes and three distinctions.
The competition winners were: Weronika Orawiec from the primary school in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Jagoda Łętowska from Primary School No. 4 in Bolesławiec. Distinctions were received by: Klaudia Kotwica from the primary school in Brzeźnik, Jan Krzywdziński and Wiktor Wałęga (both from the primary school in Nowogrodziec).
Weronika Orawiec and Jagoda Łętowska will represent our district in the “Pegazik” provincial stage.
