None of the presidential candidates visiting our city was received at local-government institutions. Only Karol Nawrocki was hosted during his visit to the Museum of Ceramics, and afterwards the president received him at the City Hall in the town hall.
The Bolesławiec town hall is a historic building, so the candidate could tour it just as he toured the Museum of Ceramics. Why was the civic candidate accompanied by a group of Law and Justice politicians received in Bolesławiec almost like a head of state, rather than like an ordinary citizen merely seeking the office of president?
This question can be answered by recognizing that the political sympathies of independent Piotr Roman and those of the civic Karol Nawrocki are a smokescreen for the appropriate political arrangements between the two men.
We asked who paid for Karol Nawrocki and his team’s visit to the Museum of Ceramics. Who covered the admission tickets, the bisque-painting workshops and the professional guide?
(…) The people accompanying Karol Nawrocki purchased a package of regular tickets for 40 people, including a guided tour, and also paid for ceramic workshops for two people (a total of PLN 1,120). People representing journalistic outlets did not incur any charges.
