Dramatic rescue operation on the trail! Witnesses’ quick reaction saved a life as an LPR helicopter landed

The incident occurred in the Karkonosze Mountains, in the Słonecznik area. As GOPR Karkonosze reports:

The tourist lost consciousness, and witnesses reported severe chest pain.

Rescuers: – A functioning chain of survival was crucial to the success of the operation: an immediate emergency call, the rapid start of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by witnesses, and effective cooperation among all services.

The man was transported to hospital by an LPR helicopter.

Nine rescuers, LPR and four off-road vehicles took part in the operation, which lasted more than 3.5 hours.
