After our publication, the vulgar inscription was removed (erased).
A vulgar, xenophobic, anti-Ukrainian inscription appeared on the noise barrier by the roundabout near the Bóbr River in Bolesławiec (DK 94): “Ukraińce wyp......ć”.
The inscription is an act of vandalism (damage to the barrier), but also part of the increasingly prevalent hate speech containing elements of racism.
This disturbing phenomenon of growing prejudice may be associated with the sentiments prevailing in Germany before Adolf Hitler came to power.
There, too, it began with the stigmatization of an ethnic group (Jews): racist inscriptions on walls, smashing windows... We know how it ended...
