31 March this year, Zofia Kot, the oldest resident of the village of Nowa, celebrated her 95th birthday. Bolesławiec Municipality:
Mrs. Zofia has been an active resident of Nowa throughout her life, engaging in the life of the local community. She is particularly known as a co-founder of the Nowa Rural Housewives’ Circle, which has brought the village’s female residents together for years and contributed to the village’s development. Always willing to help and known for her warmth and kindness, she has earned the affection and respect of many generations. Despite the passing years, she still enjoys good health and a cheerful spirit, which is an inspiration to everyone.
The celebrations were attended by members of the Nowa Rural Housewives’ Circle: Danuta Skoczeń, Antonina Rucińska, and the village head Ewa Surma, who offered heartfelt wishes and presented flowers and a gift. Mrs. Zofia, moved and grateful, thanked everyone for their presence and kind words.
The municipal office concluded: “It is a special day for Mrs. Zosia and the entire village of Nowa. We wish her many more years filled with joy, love and good health!
