He Took Someone Else’s Equipment Worth PLN 1,600 from a Train. The Suspect Has Been Charged

As reported by the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, the perpetrator of the misappropriation has been identified and the property recovered.

Police: – The 36-year-old has already been charged with misappropriating someone else’s property. He faces up to 3 years in prison.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters are carrying out activities in connection with the misappropriation of a left-behind iPad and power bank with a total value of PLN 1,600.

Police: – The incident took place in February 2025 on a train running between Wrocław and Zgorzelec.

And adds:

When the owner got off at the station in Bolesławiec, he realized that he had left his backpack behind. The backpack was secured with the help of railway services, but the electronic devices were no longer inside.
