The County Police Chief in Bolesławiec invites everyone interested in joining the service to an open day, which will take place on 28 March, from 12:00 to 20:00, at the KPP Bolesławiec headquarters at 3 Modłowa Street.

The basic requirements that a candidate must meet are:

  • be a Polish citizen;
  • not have been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offence or a fiscal offence;
  • enjoy full public rights;
  • have at least secondary or secondary vocational education;
  • be physically and mentally fit for service in armed formations subject to special service discipline, which you are prepared to follow;
  • provide assurance of maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information;
    have a regulated status regarding military service (for persons subject to military qualification);
    have an unblemished reputation.

If you wish to take part in the qualification procedure, prepare the following documents:

  • an application for admission to service in the Police, addressed to the person managing and conducting the qualification procedure. In the application, indicate the Police organisational unit in which you would like to serve;
  • a completed personal questionnaire for a candidate for service in the Police (Parts A and B only)—complete every item carefully, in accordance with the accompanying instructions. The questionnaire form can be downloaded from Police websites or obtained at any Police organisational unit;
  • paper copies of documents confirming your education and professional qualifications (original documents for inspection)—for example,
  • a secondary-school leaving certificate, a higher-education diploma;
  • paper copies of employment or service certificates from previous places of employment or service (original documents for inspection);
  • a paper copy of a military book or another document confirming a regulated status regarding military service, if you are included in the military register (original document for inspection);
  • paper copies of documents confirming your qualifications, skills and knowledge of foreign languages (original documents for inspection)—for example, qualifications as an instructor in combat sports or sport shooting, a medical rescuer qualification, category A, C or C+E driving licence, or knowledge of a foreign language at B2 level;
  • a Personal Security Questionnaire—the completed document must be submitted at the time and place designated during the qualification procedure

IMPORTANT: candidates for service in the Police reporting with the above-mentioned documents should carry an identity document.
