Although Accord Band consists of musicians aged 17–19, the group itself has already been active for six years. They all met at the music school in Bolesławiec. They decided to form a band.

They play pop rock. Their current repertoire consists mainly of covers and one original song, “Życia rytm.” But they are in the process of creating more of their own tracks. How are they made? – Complete improvisation – Kacper Warmus, the band’s keyboardist, tells istotne.pl. He adds that the band members write the lyrics together.

They already have considerable stage experience, having performed, among other places, at the finals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – both in Bolesławiec and in Nowogrodziec. Out of several hundred Polish bands, they were selected to participate in a youth festival in Mosina near Poznań. (And they performed there too.) During this year’s May holiday weekend, they will take part in a festival in Żagań. Kacper says: – We play on many stages across Poland, both smaller and larger.

Soon, they will be able to be seen and heard on the stage of the Old Theater in Bolesławiec, as they will take part in a charity concert. Their dream, however, is to play on major stages, and this year they would like to perform at the Ceramics Festival.

The band consists of young people who will probably soon leave for university in other cities. Kacper nevertheless promises that Accord Band will continue to operate. – This is our passion – the keyboardist explains. The goal? To be able to make a living from music.
