During rush hour, massive traffic jams form on Wesoła, Łokietka and Zgorzelecka streets. The traffic jam on Zgorzelecka Street (toward the Bóbr River) often stretches all the way to the roundabout.
At the Łokietka–Zgorzelecka–Wesoła intersection, situations also occur in which drivers coming from Łokietka and turning left enter the intersection when there is no room to continue driving, creating a traffic jam themselves.
This behavior means that the intersection is also blocked for drivers coming from Wesoła Street (when they have a green light).

The mayor mentioned the traffic-jam problem at the city’s largest intersection during a city council session. According to Piotr Roman, a large turbo roundabout should be built at this intersection.
At the same time, the mayor emphasized that the final solution for improving traffic flow at the intersection would be the one proposed by road engineers.
Do you agree with the mayor? Should a turbo roundabout be built there?
