The incident occurred on January 29, during the night, on the A18. As determined by officers from Bolesławiec, a Czech national driving a Volvo with a semitrailer improperly performed a maneuver to avoid a trailer fitted with road signage (U26a).
The Volvo first hit the aforementioned trailer and then struck the barrier separating the carriageways with its side.
Fortunately, no one suffered any serious injuries. The 31-year-old Czech national was fined PLN 1,000.
The disruption lasted several hours.
