Update
As established by the Bolesławiec police:
A 33-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra, driving a Nissan, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions on a straight section of road. As a result, he crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Toyota driven by a woman from Bolesławiec. The woman was taken to hospital.
The incident was classified as a collision.
Before noon on 19 January, two vehicles collided on DW350 (between Dobra and Osiecznica). The following units responded at the scene: OSP Osiecznica, JRG Bolesławiec, OSP Brzeźnik, the Emergency Medical Service and the Police (three police cars were present).
The emergency services secured the scene and assisted those injured. The police are investigating the circumstances of the collision. Traffic on the road was disrupted during the operation.
