It all began with the school’s finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, held on 5 January this year. Class IIt then auctioned the deputy director’s chair at ZSE for one day. The students chose Patryk Korkoszyński for the position.
“The nomination was handed to me personally by the deputy director of the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych, Maciej Pronkiewicz,” says the Class IIt student. On 28 January, Patryk took the deputy head’s seat at the “electronics school”.
The newly appointed deputy director of ZSE had the opportunity to tour the school, among other things. He visited classes and also prepared an address to middle-school students. “I spent the long break in the teachers’ room,” Patryk says. “The teaching staff welcomed me very warmly.”
The institution’s one-day deputy head also found time to give an interview to Joanna Babij, a journalist for the school newspaper “Ignis”.
KFC Osła restaurant appreciated the contribution of the IIt students to organising the event accompanying the 19th WOŚP finale and invited the class to a free meal. Patryk passed the information on to his classmates.
“Being a deputy director is not at all as easy as I thought,” admits the ZSE student. “That does not change the fact that it was one of the most interesting days of my life.”
