Bolesławiec City Council councillor Urszula Magryś published on her social media profile the response from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. The KO councillor summed up the response as follows:

(…) They wrote that differences in fuel prices between stations in Bolesławiec and other towns are not sufficient evidence of price fixing. (Emphasis – istotne.pl). It was indicated that these differences may result from other factors, such as the costs of doing business in a given region, the pricing strategies of individual businesses, or their adaptation to local market conditions.

And she added:

They stated that differences in fuel prices are not sufficient grounds for legal action because no evidence was found of conduct violating competition law.

And she announced: – Nevertheless, I am not giving up and will continue looking for ways to reduce fuel prices in our city so that they are comparable to those in other towns in the Lower Silesian region.
