On New Year’s Eve, the Lubin police were notified that the bodies of two men with gunshot wounds to the head had been found in an apartment in the Przylesie housing estate. – The bodies were discovered by a cousin of one of the deceased, who became concerned because he had not responded to messages sent to him since the previous day – explains prosecutor Liliana Łukasiewicz, press spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Legnica.
The deceased were 28-year-old Paweł G. and 29-year-old Konrad W. The men had been living together as a couple for several months. They worked and were well regarded by their neighbours.
Spokesperson: – Paweł G., the main occupant of the apartment, was a shooting enthusiast. He had a firearms licence for several weapons. The weapons, along with the ammunition, were secured during the inspection of the apartment.
