Search efforts had been underway since 17 December for a 23-year-old student of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The woman had travelled to Szklarska Poręba. Surveillance footage showed her moving through the streets of the mountain town.
Unfortunately, on 24 December, the body of the 23-year-old woman was found in the area of the waterfall in Szklarska Poręba. “The woman’s body was found near the red trail leading to Kamieńczyk Waterfall in Szklarska Poręba,” said asp. szt. Łukasz Dutkowiak, press spokesman for the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, in Polsat News.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the woman’s death under the supervision of a prosecutor.
