Firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Service units in Godzieszów and Węgliniec prepared gifts for hospitalized children as part of the “A Parcel for a Child for Christmas from a Firefighter” campaign. On Sunday, December 22, children in hospitals in Bolesławiec and Zgorzelec received the gifts.
A few days earlier, two female firefighters visited children at the Przylądek Nadziei clinic in Wrocław.

The “A Parcel for a Child for Christmas from a Firefighter” campaign.
Today, our unit, together with OSP Węgliniec, visited the pediatric wards in our region – St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec and the Multi-Specialist Hospital – SPZOZ in Zgorzelec.
We donated gifts collected as part of the “A Parcel for a Child for Christmas from a Firefighter” campaign organized by OSP GRS Strażacy Wspólnie przeciw Białaczce.
The children’s smiles during these difficult moments, especially during the Christmas season, are priceless and show that it is worthwhile to help and do good

Together, we can always do more!On December 14, 2024, our firefighters Kamila Wojciechowska and Gabriela Horochowska took part in the finale of the “A Parcel for a Child for Christmas from a Firefighter” campaign organized by the OSP GRS Strażacy Wspólnie przeciw Białaczce association. The finale took place outside the Przylądek Nadziei clinic in Wrocław.
The emotions that day were indescribable! Many uniformed-service units from across Poland gathered to bring smiles to these brave warriors, who fight adversity every day and strive to regain their health!
It is for these brave “Onkoludki” that it is so worthwhile to take part in such wonderful campaigns every year, and the place inspires deep reflection, especially during such a beautiful time as December and the preparations for Christmas.
With the cooperation of OSP Węgliniec, we managed to collect many gifts for children staying in hospital wards before and during the holidays.
