The incident took place on 29 November at the intersection of Karola Miarki and Łukasiewicza streets in Bolesławiec. As established by the Bolesławiec police, the 68-year-old driver failed to give way to the 25-year-old woman, who was on a pedestrian crossing. Both were sober.
The woman was taken to hospital. The incident was classified as an accident.
The officers urge caution and prudence on the road.
