On November 12, an incident took place in Milików that demonstrated the extraordinary courage and readiness to provide assistance on the part of employees of Zakład Gospodarki i Usług Komunalnych Sp. z o.o. in Luban.
At around 12:00, while the mother of 19-month-old Kalinka was alone at home, her daughter suddenly stopped breathing. The child’s face turned blue, and the girl required immediate intervention.
The terrified mother ran out into the street, calling for help. Fortunately, a group of employees collecting waste was nearby. The quick reaction of one of the men, who immediately ran to the mother and took the child from her, deserves great thanks.
The man provided Kalinka with first aid and called an ambulance. Thanks to him, the girl began breathing again, and her life was saved.
