They called Reader us and informed the editorial office about a dangerous situation on Kosiby Street. As they stressed, for some time now residents of this part of the street have found it very difficult to join the traffic. This is all because of cars blocking the road, making it impossible to see anything on the left.
They added: – If someone dies, everyone will be shaking their heads, wondering why this happened.
The person who reported the matter told us that they had informed the police about the situation, but were allegedly told that it “is not an intersection” and that the cars were allowed to park there.
– Over the past several months, we have not recorded any road incidents at the indicated location – asp. szt. istotne.pl was informed by Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She added:
Indeed, exiting the internal road indicated in the inquiry is very difficult due to the road infrastructure, the difference in levels between the internal and county roads, and their width. Therefore, the driver must exercise particular caution when joining the traffic.
She further added:
Road police officers who have recently been patrolling the area will ask the County Roads Authority to install a road mirror to make it easier to leave in the direction of the city.
